Interesting comment, Nintendo. Aside from its questionable validity, last we heard, most third-party games weren’t doing so hot on your own platforms. [Kotaku]

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 9:29 AMClearly, given the crap that Nintendo has produced of the last several years, they have no idea what people actually want from their gaming…and that’s a shame, they do some nice work when they want to – but rely on re-hashing all their “old” trade marks in a continued “mash-up” of no point games.
My ps3 has seen more air time then my wii in the past 3 years, even if that’s mostly to play bluray’s

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 4:03 PMHey I love my PS3 as much as the next guy, but the sales data indicates that you’re wrong about Nintendo.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 8:33 PMmostly to watch blu-rays? i would put nintendo on par with hollywood so you’re about even. “but rely on re-hashing all their “old” trade marks” describes hollywood and youre blu-rays equally as much.
all my friends are the same, they just watch movies on their PS3′s.
i think nintendo would be stupid to ignore any competition, especially a company with the current momentum of apple

Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:21 PMYeah, we bought the Nintendo Wii when it came out and the Sony PlayStation 3 “slim” when it came out – since we bought the latter, we rarely use the Wii… In fact from memory, I believe we’ve used the Wii just once since buying the PlayStation 3 “slim”!
Anyway, back on-topic, the Apple iPad products are NOT gaming platforms and anyone that is SERIOUS about gaming will NEVER buy one!
If I want to play games at home, I’ll use my PlayStation 3 and if I want to play games on the move, well there’s the PSP (PlayStation Portable) for that… Not a tablet-computer that doesn’t even have any physical buttons!
