Marvel Comics On The iPad

The left half of the image is the money – that’s how you’re going to be reading Marvel’s comics on the iPad. What the screenshots don’t show, however, is what happens when there’s a two-page facing layout.

Do you go landscape and they go side-by-side? That seems to be the best option, rather than paging forward and back, trying to make out what happened in both pages, even if the text goes a little smaller because you’re viewing two pages at once.

Marvel says there are “hundreds” of comics, which means not all their titles and issues are available here. But they’re “backed up” using the Marvel.com account, presumably meaning you can view comics both on an iPhone and on an iPad without buying them twice. Not sure though.
