As spotted on Lufthansa USA’s Twitter profile. Incredibly clever, and I really hope Gray gets in contact with them. Because I reckon the guy could probably use a bit of a holiday after this week…

Friday, April 23, 2010 at 12:16 PMWOW! Is this a joke?
How amazing is that? The guy loses a prototype phone whilst being drunk and now he gets to fly BUSINESS CLASS to Germany?!

Don’t worry, you have to be used to dealing with marketing fluff to pick up on half this rubbish.

Friday, April 23, 2010 at 7:03 PMBecause for the cost of a few meals and some drinks, they’ll fill an empty seat and get marketing worth 10,000 times that cost.

Friday, April 23, 2010 at 7:06 PMLuke L – it is genius for so many reasons. The man is already very famous, although this didn’t dawn on me until I read the above letter. Aside from that, he did lose the phone while drinking german beer – the propensity for hilarious advertisements is huge. And as they state above he could well need a break soon. This might allow him to make the most of it all and cement his celebrity status, it might just be very appealing to Mr Powell. Lufthansa cleary have their eyes open, this is really clever.
