Free John Butler Trio Gig At Sydney Apple Store This Weekend

Gizmodo AU

Say what you will about Apple, but their flagship retail store in Sydney is fast becoming one of the best venues for free live Australian music. On Saturday night April 3, the fantastic John Butler Trio will be performing live from 9pm at the George Street store, and entry is free.

Mind you, because entry is free, it’s a bit of a case of first in best dressed, but if you’re looking for a spot of free entertainment and a good show (watching John Butler play the 12 string is mindblowing), make sure you check this show out.

They’re professional musicians, and they need to eat. Given JB co-owns his record label, playing at the Apple store is hardly the peak of his commercial activity.

The guy sure can play though.
