Even Steve Jobs Would Want The Joule iPad Stand

I’m glad someone actually took the time to design a simple stand that not only matches the iPad’s industrial design, but makes it look even better. The Joule’s made in California, but it reminds me of classic ’70s European designs.

The Joule is made out of solid aluminium bricks, CNC’ed like the unibody iPad and MacBooks. You can buy it with chrome or anodised black finishes. It has a magnetically attached tilt foot to easily change the viewing angle, rubber pads for grip and a velvet-lined recess, so you don’t scratch it.

Sadly, all this finesse comes with a steep price: $US129. [Element Case]
