While the specs and form have changed since we first spied it at CES – was it two CES shows ago? – but the final specs appear to include a 1.6GHz Atom N270 chip, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16GB SSD, with the 5-inch LED-backlit multitouch display being in an adequate 800 x 480 resolution. The whole thing runs Windows XP Home, and in terms of connections, there’s three USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, HDMI out, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an UWB receiver, which certainly sounds intriguing.
$US599 though – not sure I’d be happy forking that out for a glorified keyboard. [Amazon via Netbooked via TechRadar]
