Microsoft has decided to not show screenshots of the mobile Office suite for Windows Phone 7 – possibly because they’re not final, possibly because they just don’t want to focus on Office as part of their new “consumer” oriented strategy. Either way, here’s what mobile Office looks like. It’s really streamlined and simple. [Techau via Engadget]

no, I mean really… wow, it looks like office.. office is something we want to *avoid* not look forward to… and it shows off no technical marvel or novelty of the device…

Monday, March 22, 2010 at 3:14 PMI care, as I support a large scale client base that primarily uses MS apps. Mobile solutions are core nowadays, and if mobile Office apps are not up to scratch in usability/functionality it means looking elsewhere or at other options. Third party apps aside, out of the box Windows Mobile still provides the best Office App solutions. We certainly wouldn’t avoid the applications that provide the best corporate integration. Personal use is different, but that’s rather what the iPhone was initially aimed at.
