Opera Mini Submitted To App Store, Complete With “Countup” Clock

Norwegian browser makers Opera Software have submitted Opera Mini to Apple’s App Store. And because Apple hasn’t let any third-party browsers on iPhone, Opera is calling them out with a timer to measure how long approval takes. Waiting’s fun! [via @SuGeneris]

    hold up… so Apple doesn’t even allow competing browsers on their device, yet it’s Microsoft being attacked by the EU just because they have IE as default???

    Um I might be wrong but I believe that there are 3rd party web browsers on the iPhone just type in ‘Web Browsers’ on the iTunes store and you can see 3rd party browsers. eg Mercury.
