Nintendo DSi XL Priced

Gizmodo AU

Hanging out for an RRP for the DSi XL? Go on, admit it you Nintendo nerd! Well, today’s your lucky day. Nintendo have announced that the new handheld – which is practically the same as the old handheld but bigger – will be available in burgundy and bronze from April 15 for the bargain basement price of…

…$299.95! Obviously when I said bargain basement before, I was lying.

Does anybody care?

Will buy but will buy from Japan instead. Things like this have been said before but $300.00 is XBOX 360 territory

I’m confused, I thought the normal dsi was $300?
are they phasing out the normal dsi?

    PS, I don’t care.

I’d say that the DSi will see a price drop to about $249..
If you look on the EB website the DSi XL is actually cheaper than the DSi, by all of about $1 but still..

I’ll stick with my Limited Edition Mario Red DS thank-you very much!

Oh, and I’d rather get a 32gb iPod Touch from the US for that price tag.

At that price I could probably justify getting one from Colorware in the US (hopefully).
At least then I wouldn’t have to settle for either of the less-than-desirable real colours.
