ATI Eyefinity was powering this six-screen demo at PAX East this weekend. I saw it up close, and from a novelty perspective it was neat in passing, but the bezels block out important visual cues, like crosshairs. No thanks. [CrunchGear]

Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:33 PMIt’s not a flawed idea. It’s an awesome idea. It’s just that bezel-free lcds are not common yet. If this gets popular enough, they will come, and then massive screen gaming will be awesome.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 12:48 AMEverything important sits on the middle screen with 3 screens, as per usual.
The two side screens then just give peripheral, so you don’t have to turn your character to look that way. Takes getting used to, but overall much more immersive.
