Inside the metal box in this horribly poor iPhone photograph is a lovely new 50-inch TV. My weekend will (hopefully) be spent setting it up, plugging in the Xbox 360 and continuing my journey through Rapture with some Bioshock 2. Anyone want to guess what type of TV it is?
I’m also planning on finishing some of the jobs I started around the house months ago, like hiding my front wall-mounted speaker cables. I know it sounds like fun, but trust me – it’s not. Does anybody else find that weekends just aren’t long enough?

Friday, February 19, 2010 at 7:51 PMIt’s actually an augmented reality encoded tv.
The TV is set up and running already…. just with the augmented(twisted?) reality it looks amazingly like a steel box on wheels ;)

Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:03 PMWeekends are never long enough. I’ve been “doing my theater setup” for 6 months now. Good news is I’m merely a few curtains away from ultimate high def, cinema scope bliss.

Monday, February 22, 2010 at 9:28 AMOkay, most of you were spot on – to a point. It was Panasonic’s TH-P50V10A 50 inch plasma. No 3D, but a damn fine looking picture…
