Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder and Gizmodo guest contributor extraordinaire, has confessed that his favourite gadget is Google’s Nexus One. Oh Woz, my darling, you just broke my iPhone-powered heart.
We know that Woz picked up an iPhone right when it first came out and it’s perfectly OK that he picked up a Nexus One right on its release day, too. But proclaiming the Google device as his favourite gadget? Ouch.
I do wonder what his reasons are for that proclamation when he also explains that an iPhone is still his main mobile phone. [NBC]

Oh come on, this is so Woz! The democritization of personal computing, an open system.. it’s all so anti-IBM and all it stood for at the inception of Apple computers; and incidently what Woz still stands for. The iPhone, as slick as it is, represents a different kind of Apple than the one he set up. I’m not suprised in the least.
The man invented the home computer. Of course he wants a peoples phone too.
