More kids are getting mobile phones: Last year, more than 35 per cent of US children aged 10-11 had mobile phones, almost double the amount in 2005, according to Mediamark data, via eMarketer. And more than 5 per cent of 6-year-olds and 7-year-olds had mobile phones last year.
Takeaway: The audience for kids-focused mobile content, apps and advertising is growing rapidly.
