China Blocks IMDb Site After Google Refuses To Censor Search

Mere days after Google stuck it to the man and refused to continue censoring search results in China, the country has put IMDb.com on its list of inaccessible sites. [The Reg via TechRadar]

    And we see the future for Australia…god forbid that our children might be able to “read” about R+ movies on the internet as well, let alone watch them…I wonder how long YouTube will last…

    Although Chinas filter is all about control I believe Australias filter is lining us up for subscription based internet.
    You pay certain amounts to access particular packages. . . much like Pay TV.

    Filter a bunch of shit now, then down the road say “we will give you access to the sites for x amount.
