
The whole mechanism is set flush into a groove on the sole, so it should be as comfortable to walk in as a standard boot. Plus, they are made from waterproofed leather for added protection. Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:10 AM…until the groove fills up with muck and the thing won’t close properly, then you have to find a stick or something to try and scrape it out. Nature invented the best method I’m afraid, retractable claws =)
