Blob VB3 Is A Cross Between An Egg, Caravan And A C130

I’ve been considering expanding my home to accommodate a studio, and I love the idea of these ready-built pods, but it can’t be an eyesore. And a giant white blob sitting in my backyard is definitely an eyesore.

What it doesn’t have is pretty obvious, but the Blob does feature all of the comforts you would expect in a home – like a bathroom, kitchen, lighting and ample storage (also doubles as a bedroom). The nose also automatically opens up to serve as a porch… of sorts. As intriguing as that is, I think I will hold out for a more elegant solution. Maybe something like the OfficePod. [Designboom]
