Asians like me around the world are smiling.
I don’t think the “spoon” is meant to be used as such – its just a small dish for soy sauce, and doubles as a chopstick holder. The chopsticks pictured are typical in Japan, single use, and wouldn’t be put back in the holes after they are separated.
Still – clever design!
