I usually don’t pay much attention to Soniq – you know, that company that sells lots of cheap plasmas at JB Hifi – but their new iPod speaker dock actually looks pretty attractive. Plus, I’m a sucker for motorised gadgets.
The dock has a unique motor that “stylishly lowers the iPod and encases it safely behind a modern transparent finish all with the touch of a button.” Doesn’t that sound like something you could just do over and over and over and over again?
The dock will sell for $149 at JB Hifi Stores. Part of me does question what the audio quality will be like, but in terms of style and form factor, I’d be keen to take a closer look at this. Crazy, huh?
