Thanks to a clandestine meeting with a source, I got a chance to play with and try out the Nexus One. It’s basically, from my time with it, Google’s Droid killer. It’s thin, it’s fast, it’s better in every way.
So like the Droid before it, the Cliq has been rooted. It’s not ready for wholesale fun-making mods yet, however – it’s not capable of handling new ROMs quite yet. But it will be, my friends. Panasonic’s latest Bonus Wii promotion hasn’t gone down too well with the ACCC, with the regulator instituting proceedings against the electronics company for publishing ads that failed to disclose important conditions of the promotion that resulted in deceptive or misleading conduct. Oh, snap!
A Firefox developer has posted a handful of mockups of Firefox 4′s user interface redesign along with some explanations of this shiny new App Button we’re getting. Everything just looks oh-so-gorgeous and simplified right next to that old 3.5 design.
