I’m not sure why you think it’s horrifying (unless you’re vegetarian – in which case, fair enough).
Report PermalinkThe chicken is dead, then the feathers are removed – do you think there’s some “nice” commercial way to do it, or that spending an hour manually plucking feathers is somehow kinder to the dead bird?
