The History Of Computing Video Shows Why We’re Doomed

Do you think that computing was a hard road until now? Watch Trillions, and you’ll understand why we need to come fast with new technologies, to make our data networks more like our bodies and less like traditional systems.

Makes me want to go back to the age of mail and cassette tapes. Or fast-forward until they iron out all the bugs. Somebody think. Fast. [Likecool]

The fundamental technology to start developing this outcome exists today, and I believe so does the fabric to bind all those nodes – but although I’ve had it running for 6-7 years, I find that the ‘right people’ simply aren’t able to extrapolate the usefulness of the proposal.
i.e. If they don’t see a product or profit in the first 6 months, they’d rather build a condo with the money.
