There are implants which are purely aesthetic, and then there’s the Digital Tattoo Interface concept. It’s a blood-powered electronic interface which is embedded under skin to mimic a tattoo, display videos, or act as a phone or computer.
As great as it seems, this concept is seriously creepy because it powers itself by converting the glucose and oxygen found in blood into electricity. But somehow getting your blood sucked by a gadget is worth it for the endless potential applications. I’d probably just end up using it to moderate comments, but what would you do first with your implant? [Core77 via Geekologie]

That is the coolest thing ever. The first photo suggests it can give a reading of your blood alcohol level. I want one for that reason and I want it now!
btw. Facebook users click below? Below where? I can’t see any link (tried Opera and IE).

Well i suppose they could always use the same theory behind those “cloaking suits” where the suit is just a screen displaying what is being captured on the other side!
Just an idea! Maybe this could treat your skin as a screen? and having cameras hidden around your body displaying appropriate images on the screen that gives the illusion of being invisible!?
