Cornea: The Latest Super-Cheap TV Company

cornea tvIn the tradition of Kogan and Tyagi comes the latest super-cheap, direct-to-consumer TV company, Cornea.

They’ve got a range of LCDs, ranging from 22 inches for $450 through to 47 inches for $1,650. The TVs use Samsung and LG panels and tuners, so you know there’s a certain level of quality to the screens, although my money would be on the panels being from a previous generation of display.

Still, those prices are pretty hard to argue with, especially if you’re after a secondary TV for the bedroom or for the kids.

Anyone had any experience with the Cornea brand yet? What do you think?

Why would you buy a television from an online supplier who not only doesn’t give any details on who they are but also will not tell you where they are or how to contact them (except via emails that can be ignored). Like Conia they will come and they will GO….

From memory of a couple of past projects I’ve worked on, I’m pretty sure there are laws in Australia that say that if you sell something on your website you must show your ABN and registered address.

      I can’t find them anywhere on this site, and it’s a .com.au

Funny i seen this post.. I acutally bought a cornea 32″.. perform great and looks great was quite surprised with the quality…

What is a bit disapointing is when people talk about things they dont know about..conia is not gone.. they still around.. just because they change company structure doesnt mean they are gone.. if they have been around for 15+ years why would they go now…..get your facts right:)

Hmm, you know, many Cornea workers/followers/worshippers will be posting propaganda (ok, maybe not propaganda but are posting BIAS comments). Normally, you get what you pay for. Actually, in this day and age…… you pay double.

I bought a 37″ Cornea LCD TV around 8 months ago, it is a full HD tv.
I think the picture is brilliant and I would 100% buy another from Cornea Technology when the time comes.
I have a 50″LG PLasma and I think the picture on the Cornea is better.
I was very cautious in buying this tv online but would not hesitate to deal with Cornea again.
I live in WA and the TV was couried to my door in perfect condition.
    Thanks Cornea
