Apple ChermsideBrisbane-based Apple fanboys – your day of victory has arrived! You’ll never have to drive down to Robina for your Genius Bar fix again, because Apple are opening their Chermside store this Saturday at 9am.

The new Store is located in the Chermside Westfield. If anyone happens to go along to the launch on Saturday, let us know what it’s like…

In similar news, a quick look at the jobs site on Apple’s website shows that there are retail positions available for Perth, which means our west-coast brethren will probably be getting their Apple Store fix in the next few months.

Unless you live on the north side, Chermside is still an epic journey to drive to. The one main road going out there is always bogged up with traffic. If you’re on the south side like me, you’re almost better off driving to Robina anyway – and hey, you’re at the Gold Coast, so you can hit up the beach while you’re there ;)

Have you tried the bus – great fast connections to Chermside, no parking worries. Personally, I’ll be there.

D’oh! I cut short my day at MovieWorld to visit the Robina store when the Chermside store was a week away? Silly Murphy’s Law.
