While it would be a shame to lose the understated flare of Jonathan Ive’s design, the prospect of a glowing Apple logo embedded in the rear of my skull would be a worthy trade.

Because the prospect of having apple’s locked down, ultra-expensive platform being intertwined with YOUR BRAIN is an attractive prospect. Right.
