Yep, Logitech’s Guitar Hero Instruments Will Be Expensive Here Too
I love my Guitar Hero and my Rock Band, but not this much. Logitech has announced local details for their premium wireless guitar and wireless drum sets for all three consoles, and just like in the US, they’re not exactly cheap…
Each of the peripherals on each of the platforms will have an RRP of $399.95. That’s more on one instrument than the entire instrument+game pack for Guitar Hero 5. The PS3 version is out now, the Xbox version will land late October and the Wii version lands in late November.
While I’d love to take my music rhythm gaming to the next level, somehow I don’t think dropping $800 on instruments is the way to do it. With that kind of cash, I could buy real instruments and go on tour (at the local pub)…

That is SO unreasonable! My brother asked me if I could get him the wireless guitar (Wii version) for Christmas. If I had known it was going to cost me $400, my “yes” would have been a “get real”.
$399.95 will buy you an electric, an acoustic, some picks and a spare set of strings.
could only justify $399 for the drums if it allowed for midi intergration (so it can be a REAL instrument, not just a REALLY expensive controller), then it’d be a cheaper option to the Ion Drum Rocker. I for one will be hoping that stores order in far too many of these logitech products and have to drastically slash prices from boxing day :D
