It’s not the atmosphere. It’s not the history. It’s not the size, space or location. It’s the fact that you can get free Wi-Fi access within the grounds.

The free public Wi-Fi is available for everyone within the MCG grounds, courtesy of Internode, which launched the service back in March. Sure, it may not be the most reliable connection when everyone at the match has jumped on during half time, but it’s still better than any other stadium in Australia…

    It may have free wifi, however by the time you load a web page up or check your emails the game has finished.
    Tried using it all year in different areas of the ground without much success.
    No real point for the service if you can not accomplish the simplest of tasks.

    Yeah, it’s rubbish. Much MUCH better to use your tethered iPhone on Optus.
