Sony Vaio X: World’s Lightest Laptop Is Actually Affordable

9:24AM October 8, 2009 | Joanna Stern

Sony’s X is ready to come out from its dark hiding spot. Not only is the Windows laptop super slim, but is also actually affordable. That is right it will start at $US1300.

On the outside the X is made of some beautiful metal. On the insides we now know it has a 2GHz Intel ULV processor, a solid state drive and standard Intel graphic. It will also run for 17 hours on a charge. Doubtful when you have the Verizon 3G on, but that is an option also. [Sony]
