I’d sort of come around on the whole idea of having Windows 7 launch parties. I mean — why not? Any excuse for a party and Windows 7 is a pretty good excuse, especially after Vista.
But then I saw this video. Whoever green-lit this video for release into the public domain needs therapy. As do I after watching it.
If you know any of the people in this video, never ever let them host a party for you. It will suck.

Guys, c’mon, it’s an easter egg hunt! Didn’t u get that? I counted 20 times of “activity / activities” (not counting the triple activity thing the nerd is mentioning). anyway, there is more easter eggs for “host” and “fun”. u go check it out – maybe we can compile a list of douche bag man in suit words that are used by Steinfeld (not Lagerfeld) sort of people, that make you go ‘arggghh’ – it’s a fun activity and you can join in right now – i go open a beer for some fun activity right now, how cool!

“Can you believe Microsoft put the launch of Windows 7 in our hands? Are they nuts or what?”
Yes. Yes indeed.
Can someone please tell me how to unwatch that nightmare?

Pretty sure the video was produced by houseparty.com, not microsoft. After the insanity laden seinfield adverts i’m not surprised they let this one slide.

Oh and that being said, the real insanity was handing the launch of an operating system product over to a company that has hosted launch parties for such fine goods and services as: “Avocados from Mexico” and “Glory Foods, release your inner Gloria”.

“Oh my gosh I’m so hungry” [where is the isnack 2.0?]. That just re-defined lame. I actually feel physically sick from watching that and I think my face may be permanently cringed. Please don’t do that again gizmodo. I think I’m going to cry.

At the start of the video, the digital clock in the background reads around 3:2X.
At 0:43 of the video, the clock reads 3:41 as the older woman starts talking.
At 0:45 of the video, while the older woman is still talking there’s a scene change showing the younger woman and black man. Here the clock reads 4:07.
At 0:53 of the video, the older woman is finishes talking, the clock reads 3:41 again.
At the end of the 6 minute 14 sec video, the clock reads 5:XX.
Either hosting a Windows 7 launch party is the key to opening a worm hole allowing your party to travel forwards and backwards through time, or, the editing could have been better. You decide.

I’m all for Windows 7, I have the RC on my laptop and its brilliant.
But this is one of the most retarded things I have ever seen. I think if people see this it might actually put them off Windows 7.
Look at their faces, they’re so excited, it makes me want to vomit!
5:50- “Maybe by letting you be involved” *pointing at a black guy* This could SO be taken the wrong way!

If you think that was funny/bad/sad – take a look at the alternative version with “beeeped” out words – very funny and soo sad. Steve “Barmy” appears to be hiring more in his own likeness of mind and perhaps it would time to sell any MS shares if I had any.
