PSPGo Not Selling. Who’s Surprised?
According to a report in the SMH, the PSPGo sold less than 1000 units in its first week. Is anyone surprised?
The report by Asher Moses has a GfK source claim that the handheld sold less than 1000, although Michael Ephraim, Playstation Australia’s head honcho, reckons the number is slightly over 1000. But given the price of the device – especially when the PSP-3000 is still on sale – I don’t think anyone, let alone Sony, would be too surprised by those numbers. Throw in EB Games‘ refusal to stock the console, and that makes the whole thing an even harder sell.

Who let that $ sign stay in the article? Oops!
who would want to buy a PSPgo when the PS3 Slim is less than just 50AUD more?
if it were 300AUD (USD converted to AUD + 10% GST), I would probably get it. more than 300, no thanks
the PSPGo has been released? Sorry, didn’t notice.
It’s funny, the other day I was in JB Hi-Fi and saw like 15 PSP-go boxes just stacked up between the PS3’s and the 360’s.
I wonder when they’re going to unofficially drop the price to something you find in a bargain bin, then and only then, and if there’s is absolutely nothing else to buy, then I would buy it, and if it’s under $50 as well. Yeah, next to impossible since I’m still waiting for some good headphones, about 3 or 4 DVDs and might buy a Wii.
Who would buy one after watching that bloke on tv try and sell you one, never seen such a bad tech advert. FAIL (I’m sure he’s a nice enough bloke)
