HTC Tilt 2 And HTC Pure WinMo 6.5 Phones Arrive In The US
Windows Mobile 6.5 rolls-out tomorrow, so expect to hear about a bunch of new handsets this week. Getting in early, AT&T has gotten official with its versions of HTC’s TouchPro 2 (Tilt 2; shown left) and Touch Diamond2 (Pure).
Both phones use an enhanced TouchFLO 3D interface on top of WinMo 6.5, and here’s how each breaks down:
The Tilt 2 is a QWERTY slider with “tilting” 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen, dual speakers/microphones (with noise cancellation), and 3.2MP camera. AT&T says it will be available in the coming weeks for $US300 (after $US50 rebate, with a two-year contract).
The Pure updates the Diamond2’s look, and has a 3.2-inch WVGA touch screen, 5MP autofocus camera, expandable memory, gravity sensor and ambient light sensor. It’s available now in the US for $US150 (after $US50 rebate, with 2 year contract).
