Giant Éclair Delivered To Google; Android 2.0 Imminent?

In the past, the delivery of a giant dessert item (cupcake or donut) to Google’s lawn meant a new version of Android was incoming. Today, a giant éclair was delivered: We deduce that Android 2.0 should see release shortly.

This is all unconfirmed, of course: A giant pastry is not what we professionals would call incontrovertible evidence. But when a huge doughnut was dropped on Google’s front lawn in September, Android 1.6 was released to developers within a few days. Rumour has it that Motorola’s Sholes, due out for this holiday season, would be the first Android 2.0 phone, which would be in line with, well, this enormous éclair. Check out a video of its delivery below. [TechCrunch]
