Animatronic Dinosaurs Would Scare The Beeheyzeus Out Of Me

When I first saw this video, I thought this was the perfectest live 3D animation I’ve ever seen. Then I saw how they interacted with the fog and realised they’re real. But animatronics can’t be that perfect, can they?

Then my half-blinded eyes noticed something obvious: The human legs on the first dinosaur (I’m guessing) is half-puppet, half-animatronics. The other two are completely animatronics. If I saw any of these coming my way in the middle of a dark street, I would run the other way, screaming like a little girl. Which, incidentally, is exactly how I scream all the time. I went and saw these at Rod Laver arena about 2 years ago they were fantastic. They had more dinosaurs then you see here. But i was a full show
Yeah there are people in them but who cares they are great. And for the bigger ones the tricerratop and the Trex the people are in the little sled/ground thing underneath.

Dinosaurs Live I think the show was called. They had it at the Burswood Dome in Perth too.

Sigh. More sloppy reporting by Gizmodo.

“the perfectest live 3D animation I’ve ever seen”
Ahh yeh so you never noticed it was a talk show – with a live audience?? Yeh “3D Animation” (roll eyes).

“The human legs on the first dinosaur (I’m guessing) is half-puppet, half-animatronics. The other two are completely animatronics”.
A fith grader could tell that just aint so. It’s like you guys don’t even try anymore!

Worth posting? Sure! Remotely accurate? No, just more of what we’ve come to expect lately.

Oh and “bejesus!” is not spelled Bee Hey Zeus.

‘Hey Zeus there’s a bee coming toward you!’
“That’s no bee that’s the most realistic 3D Animation I’ve ever seen! Even with the human legs stick out!’

Are you two for real? “Beeheyzeus” is clearly a play on the name Jesus, pronounced “hey zeus” from the Greek “Iasous”.

    Hey Chang

It’s called irreverence, all the cool kids are doing it these days. It’s great, you don’t even have to spell correctly anymore.

ah see that’s where I was going wrong. Confusing irreverence with irrelevance again ;)

Love that the cool kid ‘splanation now extends to not having to use your eyes either. Like totally kool Jizmodo.
