Unusually Bashful Motorola Zeppelin Android World Phone Spied

11:58PM October 23, 2009 | John Herrman

A terrible blemish? A crack? Sexually explicit default wallpaper? Whatever the reason, we’re not allowed to see the front of Moto’s GSM/CDMA world phone, the Android-powered Zeppelin. But we can see the back, and so we will. More »

11:00PM October 23, 2009 | Mark Wilson

CheapAssGamer took the voyage to a Burger King in Akihabara to try the Windows 7 Burger. $US14 gets you the most desiccating pile of adipose flesh ever to be partially congealed by man. [CheapAssGamer Thanks Ashcraft!]

10:55PM October 23, 2009 | Danny Allen

When the FCC voted to formalise net neutrality guidelines yesterday, it took minutes for the cable industry to bitch about plans to forbid them (and wireless carriers) from selectively blocking types of internet use. Surprise! McCain’s not a fan either. More »

5:20PM October 23, 2009 | Dan Nosowitz

4:30PM October 23, 2009 | Damian Francis

That would be me signing off from the Tokyo Motor Show and Japan. I’ll be hopping on a flight to Sydney in a few hours time. Hope you all enjoyed the coverage of what was certainly a pretty damn cool motor show. Before I go though be sure to do two things.

1) Check out the news of the new Toyota FT-EV II here at SMH.com.au. I didn’t have enough time to write this up with the rest of the stories but it is certainly a great car and a good look at the future and Toby Hagon, who was on this trip with us thanks to Toyota, did a rather good write up as per usual. 4:00PM October 23, 2009 | Damian Francis

Did you know that Japan has more vending machines than any other country in the world? I could be making that up but I’m sure I read it somewhere. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong – I do make a lot of things up. Anyway, on my royal tour of Japan promoting green energy, publicising poverty and celebrating my recent win in the Brazilian Grand Prix for Red Bull Racing I saw this. Now call me crazy, but THIS is crazy (and perhaps taking the idea of the vending machine one step too far)!

Wallet Bulge Wouldn’t Exist With This This All-In-One Credit Card

4:00PM October 23, 2009 | Rosa Golijan

Sure, some of that wallet bulge comes from old-fashioned cash, but let’s face it, credit cards and receipts are the big contributors. With the One Card concept though, you’d have everything accessible by turning a nob on a single card. More »
