It’s to market the fact that Sony are once again giving away a free PS3 with the purchase of select Bravias TVs after October 22. There are 25,000 PS3′s available—a few less than last time—but really, all we really care about is expensive stuff smashing into each other.
I’m really hoping that this turns out to be one of those weird concepts you look back on in 50 years time and say “what the f—k were we thinking here?” and then have a good laugh about how wrong we were back then about the future. This is a Toyota creation on show at Mega Web. It’s called Fine X. And to be honest it’s a very versatile car. But how much is versatility worth?

If you’re a car nut, and you’ve come to Tokyo, you have to stop by Toyota’s Mega Web. Warning: It’s pretty much only Toyota but it’s still pretty awesome. Think of it as a showroom plus. You get to see all the latest and soon-to-be released Toyotas and Lexuses, and even some models which won’t be around in Australia anytime soon or at all. But there’s a few things that make this free attraction even better.
