Ustream Video Streaming Android App Coming Tonight

While the Android app store is still far from the gajillion iPhone mark, some software is better on the former because of Apple’s third-party developer limitations. Like the new Ustream for Android, which can broadcast live video to the web.

While on the iPhone version you can’t broadcast video straight to the web, the Android version can do it just fine. It’s not a hardware limitation. It’s just that Apple’s politically-driven limits don’t allow it.

The Android version of Ustream seems to work great. In fact, according to TechCrunch’s test it, it only has a lag time of three seconds over 3G. Can’t wait for the first on-the-go Android-based sexcam website. [TechCrunch]
