12.1Mp camera? What size is the camera sensor I wonder? All those megapixels crammed onto a small chip just make for markedly worse quality photos. It sounds suspiciously like a marketing exercise of “mine’s bigger than yours,” aimed at the uninformed consumer. Just like marketers have got away with for years on video cameras with “240x zoom”, or boom-boxes with “1,500 watts.” Meaningless drivel aimed at consumers who don’t take the time to research before they buy.

Right you are. My bad. It’s a release, not an announcement. As in released for the Australian market. The Satio was first announced earlier this year at Barcelona as the Idou. I shall now sit in the corner and profusely weep with embarrassment until I can weep no more.
