Samsung Rogue Has AMOLED Display, May Be Better Than Glyde
We less than liked Verizon’s Samsung Glyde, but perhaps the Glyde 2 or the Rogue will make us forget. The Rogue looks like a normal slider but its AMOLED display should be bright (much like the Impression’s).
Samsung went with a 3-inch resistive touchscreen for the Rogue, but it does include some more premium features like a 3MP autofocus camera with an LED flash. We are happy to see a 3.5mm headphone jack and a MicroSD slot. It has a HTML browser and EVDO Rev A speeds and supports VCAST Music/Video and VZ Navigator.
Right now the Rogue is $US100 on Verizon’s site (with a two-year contract and after a $US100 rebate). The full retail price is $US420. [Verizon via PhoneArena]

the Rouge is a direct competitor to the enV touch...
they're specs are extremely similar, except for the screens, and the fact that the rouge gets the touch flo interface while the env touch has lg's remotely strange ui.
Don't forget that Verizon changed their pricing and phone like the Rogue 2 will cost you more after 9/8 (today)...

I personally hate any phone on Verizon that does not support Mobile TV. That is the only reason I still carry around my Voyager with a cracked front screen. VERIZON, HURRY UP AND PUT OUT A PHONE THAT SUPPORTS MOBILE TV!!! OTHERWISE I COULD CARELESS ABOUT ANY DEVICE YOU PUT OUT. SO PUT OUT OR STFU!!! Sorry, I need my ESPN and MSNBC on demand.
