This concept Coke can design uses a manufacturing process called impact extrusion to form geometric shapes into the can rather than making it round. I’m not sure how practical it is, but I like it. [The Dieline via PSFK]

It looks a LOT better than the existing cans and it’ll be a LOT more functional, so lets hope they bring them sometime soon…

Cans in upright position don’t roll. Cans in horizontal position that have been opened will, you know, spill coke on your table.
So this is kinda useless?
Andi, you missed: Cans in the horizontal position that haven’t been opened. They won’t roll. Useful if you happen to have a see-saw as a table.
