hmm, replacing every other type of connector huh? kinda like a “universal serial bus”? wow, nobody’s tried that before…
Hope they have more luck this time round, but it is either going to need to be really cheap, or scale in price with the amount of bandwidth needed. for example, no one will wanna pay 100$ for a 1m, 100gbps cable to send a document to their printer for printing. and I thought fiber optics was a bit more expensive than copper.
I really like the idea in theory.
