Lego House Gets Destroyed — You Can Cry Now

Total sadness. It finally happened and James May’s beautiful Lego House met its destiny. It has been destroyed. See the results in the following gallery and cry.

James’ full scale Lego House was built at the Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey, for the BBC program Toy Stories. Someone just asked me why it was destroyed. Well, because I didn’t have the $US81,000 needed to dismantle it and rebuild it in another location, that’s why. [Daily Telegraph]

All grand lego constructions must inevitably be smashed to bits upon completion by the child who built it. because the only thing more fun than construction, is destruction!
