Good god, Google’s storming forward with these things: Just a year after Chrome first launched, version 3.0 has left Google’s beta dungeon, bringing with it much faster Javascript rendering, theme support, a smarter Omnibox and a reshuffled tab page. Lifehacker’s got the whole rundown, and the Windows download is riiiiiiiight here—let us know what you think in the comments. [Google via Lifehacker]

I downloaded the latest dev release for Mac this morning which has all these features too. The version number says 4.0.207.0!
But so far it’s been GREAT!! Themes work well, youtube videos etc, all good! And it is FAST!!
Surely an official Mac release can’t be far away now?
