Enslaved Robotic Child Pulls Rickshaw, Dooms Humanity For Certain
When computers reach singularity and robots become smarter than men, they’ll be indifferent to humans, generally pitying us and leaving us to graze. That is, until they watch this clip.
Captured at the SM City Marikina mall in the Philippines, we know what it looks like. It looks like robotic slave children are being forced to drag around real children for entertainment. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Really, these young robots enjoy a life of service with all the electricity they can eat. And they’re not even being whipped! (during mall hours)
In fact, if we owe anyone here an apology, it’s that poor boy who could catch some sort of robot disease. Stay strong, little man. And be sure to wash your hands. [Thanks Ed!]

Those are just creepy, the song in the background the backward bending knees. Also the dead unmoving look, oh wait thats the the child in the back. I think they would be much easier to deal with visually if you just stripped off all of the anthropomorphic stuff and leave just the mechanic in place.
There is something eerily hypnotic about watching that thing goose step around the place...

@stryder100: In the 80s I remember going to the mall and seeing a robot in a department store cruising the aisles and talking up the customers. Think Rocky IV, but even more out of place. There was some dude hiding behind a rack of clothes with an RC remote and lapel mic trying to appear inconspicuous.
