• Blu-Link is an “advanced learning” remote: learning button assignments from existing remotes; and user-configurable.
• Blu-Link’s non-volatile memory retains button assignments even when it’s 2 AA batteries have been removed
• Blu-Link supports more than 400 brands of standard and HDTV television and flatscreens, 150 VCR brands, 200 Satellite Receiver models, 100 Cable TV Receiver brands, 50 DVR models and 200 home theatre surround sound systems

brilliant! I was wondering how long this would take.

obviously its next to useless if it ONLY supports the ps3 (and IR devices) but blutooth will hopefully replace IR as the remote standard.
it has its cons, most notably the massive amount of power it draws compared to IR, and also you have to ‘mate’ it. but hopefully these can be ironed out.
as the advantages of range, and lack of need for line of sight are well worth it.

(to be honest tho, I think a different wireless standard could be developed that gives you the benefits without the cons.)

Got the Logitech IR to Blutooth adaptor and it works seemlessly, bring on built in Bluetooth logitech, its one step away now.

Is always good not to have to have the PS3 remote pointed in one direction
