Brammo’s wonderbike runs off six lithium phosphate batteries and reaches a top speed of 80 kilometres with no emissions. Plus, because the bike is 100% battery powered, the bike doesn’t require gears or a clutch. Basically, it’s the ultimate way to get around a city.

I run a loud exhaust on my motorcycle – cars usually know when I’m nearby. You will want very good reflexes on a silent bike at 80kmh.

Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:04 AMNo leaning into and going fast around corners is what is fun on a motorbike. Getting rid of the gears only makes this easier and therefore faster. I do like the noise my R1 makes at 14k though.
