Apple Fires Back, Still Says They Didn't Reject Google Voice

Oh, hey, this one isn’t going to end quietly. Fresh off the release of Google’s previously redacted FCC inquiry answers, which claimed Apple rejected Google’s Voice app, Apple’s fired back, and they’re not happy.

An Apple rep gave Silicon Valley Insider a familiar line:

We do not agree with all of the statements made by Google in their FCC letter. Apple has not rejected the Google Voice application and we continue to discuss it with Google.

There’s not much there except a denial and a repetition of their previous sentiments. But the theory that Google, Apple and AT&T had worked this all out behind the scenes before talking to the FCC? Not holding up too well, it seems. [Silicon Valley Insider]
