These winners are absolute SHITE, dear Gizmodo editors! (I didn’t enter so I claim impartiality).
The whole thing was about UNportable GAMING devices. ANd yet:
- First place – how do u get more portable than something attached to the body?
- Second place – true, not portable, but just CRAP! Somebody went to NO effort to paste some xbox controllers on a photo.
- Third place – WTF? Funny as a standalone, but how is that UNportable, and how is that related to gaming???
The anvil PSPGo was brilliant, and presented well. The massive circular thing with the yellow walkway was also great – as it suggested man had built this incredible machine… all just to game.
Anvil was great, 10 points to the semi-patent looking concept of the planet as a controller. The DS built in the fridge is great! and totally relevant since they now build TVs into fridges. Wonder if i could get my ps3 playing through there..
Overall failget, however. Too many bad ones outweigh the quality of the (very) few good ones.
If these are supposedly the best, i’d hate to see the worst. Or are these all that were sent in?
