I’ve seen side-mounted bike surfboard racks before, but this concept bike dubbed “Wave” appears to make transporting a board to the beach without a car that much easier.
As you can see, the idea is simple—integrate the board directly into the bike by sliding it into the frame. In that way, it doubles as a seat—leaving your hands free to steer and providing better overall weight distribution. Longer boards might be a problem, but it’s still not a bad idea. It was not a great solution but better than walking and tin those days i could do it nice and easy with not too much traffic. Not exactly a rivetting idea.
