Well, it’s smaller, but also some unexpected surprises. The matte finish won’t scratch or fingerprint like the original. And it’s lighter, but still pretty big.
Ouch, doing the conversion from USD > AUD it seems we’re still paying $100 more for the PS3 Slim. Then again, maybe PAL is paying more anyway as the conversion from EURO > AUD is ~$500.
Argh, I got excited for a moment there – now a lot less excited unless they come out with some alternate finishes on the PS3 Slim [ white anyone? ] or some case mods come out as this new matte plastic looks a bit cheap. Even the logo on the front of the drive seems to have been downgraded. Go-ghetto-PS3!
ahh, adgahag, I think you will find that its NOT going to be 299 in AUD it will still cost 5 or 6 hunjie mate. Dont you know yet…. the AUD always get the raw deal…..
