Pentax’s P80 camera doesn’t really do anything that original or spectacular for it’s time—the 12.1 megapixel sensor, 720p, 30 fps video recording, face detection and 0.8-inch thickness are all pedestrian compared to other cams—BUT it is cheap.
The $US200 P80 can even detect faces at an angle and can find up to 32 of them in 0.3 seconds. It will be available in September. [Crunch Gear]
